Tennessee School Stages Fake Gunman Attack on 6th Graders ...

UPDATE: According to a news release from the Murfreesboro City Schools, the initial reports of the incident could be overblown. However, even the official story makes me wonder what the heck these people were thinking especially in light of recent events.

File this under how NOT to respond to a tragedy like last months Virginia Tech shootings ...

Apparently an elementary school in Murfreesboro, Tennessee thought it would be a good idea to stage a fictitious gun attack on students during a class trip, telling them there was a gunman in the building as they cried and hid under tables.

I can't believe this really happened, but it did ...

hope some school administrators are looking for employment right about now.
